Chairman's message

Since the Victory Team took to the racing waters of the Class One World Powerboat Championship in 1992 the blue boats from Dubai have become synonymous with the best in this exciting and exhilarating sport.

This year, once again, we take up the challenges that lie ahead armed with a steadfast commitment to sporting excellence, a dedication to professionalism and an unwavering determination to bring pride to our country by retaining the world title.

The final results may only offer the trophy to one team but through another year of great sportsmanship between all competitors, I believe victory and success will come to all. For the Class One teams and their crews – as well as other racing divisions we may enter - I wish an enjoyable, but most importantly, a safe racing season.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Chairman - Victory Team, Dubai
