Abdullah is one of the sport’s rising stars and made an impressive Class 1 debut in Qatar in 2008, finishing on the podium in third place.

In 2008 he partnered racing legend, the late Jean-Marc Sanchez, finishing on the podium seven times from eight starts, to end the year as runner-up in the World and Middle East Championships and third in the European Championship.

In 2009, he took on the role of reserve driver but is back for a full racing season again in 2010 this time as driver in Fazza 1 alongside the experienced two-time world champion Mohammed Al Marri.

He has competed in traditional wooden powerboat racing and the Middle East Jet-Ski and Class 3, 6litre Championships.

Talib spent one season as Victory Team’s reserve driver before stepping into the driver’s seat alongside long-time friend Nadir Bin Hendi to make his Class 1 debut at the Scandinavian Grand Prix in.

He started his career participating in wooden powerboat series in 1993. Two years later he earned himself the role as a Victory Team reserve driver in the Class II Championship. He also raced on the Class 3 circuit during 2005 and 2006 and made his return to the Class 1 season throttling Skydive Dubai at the Swedish Grand Prix in Uddevalla in August 2010.

Arif Al Zafeen has enjoyed a remarkable Class 1 career; he has won the world title twice and holds an unequalled win rate – twelve wins from eighteen starts.

He made a spectacular start to his Class 1 career in 2007 - winning on his debut in Athens, and then in Arendal, Constanta and Qatar to lift the Class 1 World and European Championships in his rookie season. He was sidelined through injury in 2008, but returned last year (2009) to win the World, Middle East and Edox Pole Position Championships.

He made his competitive debut fifteen years ago in wooden powerboat racing, and competed in the UAE Formula 2000 Circuit Racing Championship, winning the title in 1997/1998 and in 1998/1999.

Recently appointed Executive Director of the Victory Team organisation, Arif also lifted the Class Three (Six Litre) World Championship in 2009 thanks to three successive wins in Nettuno, Italy alongside regular racing partner Nader Bin Hindi.

Nadir bin Hendi is one of an elite group of racers to win back-to-back world titles. He made his Class 1 driving debut in 2005, switching to throttleman duties the following year.

He won the World, Middle East and Edox Pole Position Championships for the first time in 2008, successfully defending all three last year, and has won twelve Grands prix. In 2009, he also lifted the Class Three (Six Litre) World Championship this time as driver to Arif Al Zafeen on throttles in Fazza S3.

He competed in traditional wooden powerboat racing in the mid-nineties and the Aquabike World Championships, lifting the world title in 1995, 1996 and 2003.

He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and works for the Dubai National Gas Company. His hobbies include Aquabike racing, motocross and cycling.
