RACING FOR VICTORY
In Class One, each Victory Team boat has a driver who is responsible for the navigation of the craft and a throttleman who controls the speed, attitude and trim.
For 2009, Fazza 3 features 2007 World Champion Arif Saif Al Zafeen at the wheel with reigning World Champion throttleman Nadir Bin Hendi, while Victory 1 sees ex-World Champion throttleman Jean Marc Sanchez teaming up with debutant Mohammed Al Mehairi.
Mohammed Al Marri, who partnered Bin Hendi to the world title in 2008, brings his vast experience and prowess as a driver to the role of driver co-ordinator. |
